Time for an update !

Spring is trying hard to come to Maine.

Sorry that I have not posted much lately.  I feel I should explain why.

Winters in Maine are long.  This year mine seemed longer than usual.  I had been having severe back and head aches.  My doctor sent me for therapy.  That didn't seem to help.  Then he sent me to the pain center.   The doctor there seemed know what he could do to ease the discomfort.  The problem was,   before he could do what he thought would help,  he need to do some other things first.  This was to satisfy the insurance people  (Medicare)

So over the winter an early spring months I had a series of shots.  The first ones were done in my lower back and the doctor slowly worked his way up to the back of my head.   At first they didn't seem to be working.   He even had me try a TENS device.  That did not help either.

Finally,  about a month ago;  the doctor did a series of 24 shots of Botox.  Yes,  Botox!!!!  At that time he also sent me back to therapy.   I have exercises that I do every day.  My back is 95 % better!  I had the pain for so long that I was not expecting the pain to go completely away.   I still have some pain in my head,  but it is so much better that I am very pleased.   I see the doctor again in a week.

Now that all of that is behind me,  I am back to making dolls.  I am sewing,  knitting and crocheting again.  I also want to get back to my picture stories.

I want to thank all of you for sticking by me and expecially for the prayers.
More coming soon.
